I’m a family man married to my beautiful wife Diane. We have 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls. We also raised two grandchildren and have a middle-schooler still at home who keeps us young.
I worked in the transportation industry for 50 years. I’ve driven all makes of trucks and shifted all kinds of transmissions. I’ve hauled tankers and vans and pulled triples through Idaho. I went back to college mid-life and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. This enabled me to move out the driver’s seat and into the office. I eventually became the Operations Manager for a trucking company that hauled agricultural products.
I’ve enjoyed working with young people for over 30 years in Little League, from coaching to league president (I still umpire). I also worked on getting a sports complex for the county softball and baseball players.
